The Banzai Sushi Bar is once again excited to be taking part in our favorite local Hawaii festival, the Joy of Sake! Celebrating the world’s finest sakes, the Joy of Sake pairs up great sakes with delicious appetizers and entrees from 16 exclusive Oahu restaurants.
This year the Joy of Sake festival will be held at the Hawaii Convention Center on Friday, August 16th from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. Banzai Sushi Bar’s very own Chef Hide has crafted an exquisite dish, Tasmanian king salmon saikyo misozuke sashimi with Okinawan sweet potato mash and chrysanthemum ohitashi, especially for the festival. You don’t want to miss out on this delectable dish!
Celebrating Hawaii’s hundred-year love affair with the Japanese rice wine, the Joy of Sake is an annual event that is full of great food and delicious sake. Tickets are $85 per person, and $95 per person at the door. From the early days of Japanese immigration to the founding of the Honolulu Sake Brewery, Honolulu has a long history with sake. And did you know that Honolulu has more sake-serving restaurants per capita than any other city in the US? It’s true!
Come enjoy a beautiful night in Honolulu with the Banzai Sushi Bar as we keep it real and we keep it raw at the Hawaii Convention Center!
